Liability Agreement
Adventure travel involves real risk. This agreement explains what we're responsible for, what we're not, and what we need from you before you travel. You'll be asked to sign a copy before your trip starts.
Assumption of risk
Safaris, treks, and water activities carry inherent risks (wildlife encounters, altitude, weather, road conditions, marine life). By booking, you acknowledge these risks and confirm you are fit to participate.
Our responsibility
- Provide licensed guides, properly maintained vehicles, and qualified mountain crew.
- Operate to TPS, KINAPA, and TANAPA safety standards on parks and the mountain.
- Carry emergency communications and follow established evacuation procedures.
- Maintain commercial public-liability cover for our operations.
Your responsibility
- Carry valid travel medical and evacuation insurance.
- Declare relevant medical conditions before booking.
- Follow guide instructions in parks, on the mountain, and on water.
- Ensure passports, visas, and any required vaccinations are in order.
Force majeure
Trips may be modified or postponed for weather, political events, park closures, or wildlife migrations outside our control. We'll reroute where possible and issue credit where we can't.
The signed version is binding under Tanzanian law. Disputes are settled in Arusha. Questions: legal@oddyadventure.com.
