Hike the Slopes of Kilimanjaro

Standing 5,895 metres above the plains, Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa and the tallest free-standing mountain on earth — and you don't need to be a mountaineer to walk its lower slopes or summit it.

Routes for every traveller

Day hikes through the rainforest reach the first huts and waterfalls, while full summit climbs follow scenic routes like Machame and Lemosho over six to eight days.

Going to the top

Reaching Uhuru Peak is a genuine endurance challenge. Choosing a longer route for proper acclimatisation dramatically improves both your summit chances and your enjoyment.

Best time to go

January–March and June–October for the clearest, driest conditions.
